WHAT IS IT?
RWR Equine PPS 250 is a solution of Pentosan Polysufate. The product can be given
as intra-articular or Intramuscular.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
RWR Equine PPS 250 is a semi-synthetic polysaccharide polymer which has the
ability of being an anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic and chondoprotective properties.
WHY WOULD I USE RWR EQUINE PPS 250?
RWR Equine PPS 250 is a semi synthetic polysaccharide polymer that helps
control the inflammatory process of the animals knees and joints whilst training
and general routines and protects the joints from injury during these processes.
RWR Equine PPS 250 also helps control the anti-arthritic instances bought about
through injury.
RWR Equine PPS 250 helps the joint by improving the circulation of blood through
the joint and stimulates hyaluronic acid synthesis in the synovial fluid enhancing
the volume and viscosity.
WHAT IS IN THE PRODUCT?
RWR Equine PPS 250 contains 250 mg/ml of Pentosan Polysulfate in a 6ml vial
sufficient to treat a 500 kg horse.
HOW DO I USE RWR EQUINE PPS 250?
There are two ways to use this product;
Intra-Articular give one ml into the joint ( see instructions for the injection
technique). Repeat injection once per week for 4 weeks.
Inter muscular give 6ml/500kg hoses as an inter-muscular injection on 4
separate occasion 5-6 days apart.
CAN I USE IT WITH OTHER PRODUCTS?
If used as an inter-muscular injection do not mix the product.
If used as an intra-venous injection check with your veterinarian.
