RWR DIURETIC INJECTION

Ammonium chloride is an acid forming salt which acts as an ‘osmotic’ diuretic. Osmotic diuretics increase urine formation by exceeding the capacity of the renal tubules to reabsorb various electrolytes, notably chloride, resulting in excess electrolytes (mainly sodium and chloride) appearing in the urine accompanied by an increased volume of water.
