WHAT IS IT?
RWR ADENOSINE 5 is Adenosine Monophosphate.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Adenosine Monophosphate produces marked coronary vasodilatation and improved myocardial cell perfusion.
HOW WOULD I USE RWR ADENOSIN?
Production of coronary vasodilatation in anticipation of severe cardiac load in athletic animals or in treatment of myocardial oxygen deficit (as evidenced by performance linked ECG changes).
Muscle cramp, tying up prevention.
Contraindications Intravenous administration.
Withholding Periods Meat. Do not use in horses that may be slaughtered for human consumption.
Adverse Reactions Intravenous administration will produce a profound fall in blood pressure and possible ataxia and collapse.
HOW DO I USE RWR ADENOSINE?
Administer by intramuscular injection only. Give two injections: one 24 hours before and again four to six hours before strenuous exercise.
Horses. 2.5ml/100kg
Dogs 0.5ml/10kg
Storage Store below 25oC (air conditioning). Protect from light.
Racing; the regulation of the relevant authorities regarding medication should be observed.
